The fundament of our mission and our objectives is corporate responsibility. The care of security, health and environment are at the centre of the Ergon-policy. This care is not only oriented towards the present but also towards the coming generations.
We build a sustainable future for instance by:
- developing products that contribute to the quality of living by a congenial climate of life;
- environment-friendly production;
- paying attention to a secure working and living conditions.
On several production sites of CRH-SCB, we use green energy and reuse waste material. Moreover, our aggregates are supplied by ship and we purify our industrial water to reuse it. Furthermore we are ISO 14001 certified.
CARBIP-LIFE
Circular Aerogel Reusable Building Insulation Products
The CARBIP-LIFE project aims to demonstrate the industrial scale application of new, sustainably produced and circular composite aerogel-based insulation materials in the construction sector. Specifically, the CARBIP-LIFE consortium will demonstrate the application of these insulation materials in a new, designed for disassembly, patented insulated double walls (IDW) system that will be used for the construction of 100% circular and high thermal performant concrete facades for buildings.
